15. What does my coach do?
Your coach tracks you on a daily basis. Like Santa, he
knows if you've been bad or good and coaches you accordingly.
Since the Life Practice
tool is very specific, simple and direct, your coach is able
to track your specific performance. In addition, your coach
knows your Life Practice
goal and desired pace and works with you to help attain your
goal.
16. How do I ask questions and
communicate with my coach?
All your questions are directed to your coach's forum. Your
question and those similar to your question are answered and
discussed by your coach and others working with your coach.
Life Practice
believes in teamwork. We know that this team or community
dialogue is a very effective way of motivating people to make
change.
17. Can I get a customized
workout from my coach?
No, you cannot and there are several reasons for this:
Individual
exercise prescription requires that a personal trainer knows
your health risk factors and has tested your limits. Life
Practice
is not structured to do this and advises you to consult your
physician for appropriate exercise prescription resources.
Life
Practice
is designed to be simple, easy to use and affordable for
anyone. The most important requirement is that your doctor
knows that you are starting an exercise regimen, understands
what the Life Practice
program entails and has given you any restrictions or
limitations that are important.
Although
there is no substitute for one-on-one personal training, we
feel that many people cannot afford a personal trainer and
many do not have the time to meet regularly with a personal
trainer. Life Practice
coaches help motivate you to do the basics - things that you
know you should be doing, but have difficulty doing on your
own.
