PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY AND MEDICAL ADVICE
18. Who has access to my personal information?
Life Practice
is private and confidential. No one except you and your coach
see your information. You are the only person who is at liberty
to share your individual score and results.
Life
Practice
tracks basic healthy habits. Your personal health information
is not part of the program. Our goal is to help you change
habits that lead to good health; we are not a medical information
site.
When using the
coaching forums, all users assume a screen name.
This provides a means privately of asking any question you choose in
an open way that can be shared with everyone on your forum.
19. Should I see my doctor before
I start Life Practice ?
Absolutely! The American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM)
recommends that men over 40 and women over 50 should see a
doctor when starting ANY exercise program. Everyone should
consult their doctor when starting Life Practice .
We feel that this is the strongest endorsement Life Practice
can get.
20. I am very skeptical about
health and fitness information and programs like this, especially
Internet-based programs. What are your qualifications and
credentials?
The
Life Practice
program is based on the safe, accepted health and medical
standards and recommendations.
Our
coaches are certified personal trainers.
Our Medical Director has reviewed and approved all the content
and coaching protocols of Life Practice .
All
our content and coaching protocols have been reviewed by credentialed
specialists in behavior change. The focus of Life Practice
replacing bad habits with good habits. We are not in the business
of selling innovative and unproven concepts or products.
