Dana Curran - Health Concerns

I find that people workout for two reasons.  One is that they want to look better and lose weight.  The other reason that motivates people is the desire to be healthy.  The great thing about regular exercise is that both objectives are accomplished at the same time.  A routine of cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, flexibility exercises along with good diet, sleep and stress control habits does it all.

When working with people I try to emphasize the health value of exercise.  At the same time we are toning our bodies and losing weight, we are building muscle mass, improving range of motion, strengthening our muscular/skeletal system and, most importantly, giving the most important muscle in our body, our heart, the workout it needs.

Each day we see more evidence of the link between exercise and health.  So, while we work towards shedding those extra pounds or strive to tone up, we are giving our bodies the best medicine there is - regular exercise.

I urge you to join Life Practice™.

"Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God and value it next to conscience; for health is the second blessing that we mortals are capable of, a blessing money can't buy."
