Jim Grube - Stress Management

I like to think that I am a pretty laid-back guy. But find me in the middle of one of those stressful days, trying to pass a slow driver in the passing lane or waiting endlessly at the bank drive-up window and you have one stress-out demon. What should be a feeling of mild frustration often ends up as a anger and hostility. Not only am I in danger of getting in a fender-bender, but I am increasing my chance of putting undue strain on my heart (hostility and anger are proven risk factors for heart disease).

No matter how busy I am, I am always at my best when I am exercising. My grades in school were always best when I was playing a sport. The idea behind Life Practice began with the notion of creating a program that would help put exercise back into our lives, a sense of accountability (scoreboard) and the support of a coach and fellow teammates or community. In short: keep it simple, make sure the relationships are genuine and go back to the basics in life.

As long as I can continue to exercise and have the support my team, I know I can keep a grip on this crazy world we live in.

I urge you to join Life Practice™.
