John Starr - Getting in Shape

Before starting the Life Practicesm program I was out of shape and over weight.  Worse still, I did not have the "edge" that I need to be the type of person I want to be.  For me, being in shape is more an issue of doing the right thing, than weight management or controlling risk factors for disease.  As a cardiologist, I know how important it is to exercise and eat smart.  For me to neglect fitness would be the height of hypocrisy.

Life Practicesm helps me execute and sustain what I already know, but have a difficult time doing by myself.  For many many years, I have known that it is important to do resistance exercise and to stretch regularly.  I know the value of eating smart, getting adequate sleep and controlling the pressures in a very active and stressful life.  Executing and performing these basic health habits has been a struggle for me.

Having a coach track and monitor my progress as I work to stay in shape is invaluable.  This is where Life Practicesm has made a difference in my life.  I cannot afford to be out of shape.  The skills I need to perform as an interventional cardiologist demand that I am at the top of my game.  On a personal level, I want to enjoy the precious time that remains at the end of the day.  Life Practicesm is the key that makes all this work in my life.

I urge you to join Life Practice™.

"To resist the frigidity of old age one must combine the body, the mind and the heart - and to keep them in parallel vigor one must exercise, study and love."
